In today's trading session broad equity markets were mixed, with some major indices in positive territory and others in negative territory. The Dow lost 36 points, the NASDAQ Composite gained 0.06% and the TSX Composite lost 0.72% in trading on March 8th. 

The cannabis sector was generally under pressure in today's trade, continuing losses from yesterday's session. 


Use this continued selling pressure as encouragement to do additional research on the marijuana stocks in your watchlist and look for opportunities to build a position in stocks you like while they are 'on sale'.

Following their acquisition announcement on Monday, selling pressure continued in shares of Aurora Cannabis. As of the European close, Aurora shares on the Frankfurt Börse finished at €1.68, down 4.55% on the day. On the TSX Venture exchange, shares of ACB closed at CAD$2.28, down 4.60% versus their previous close of CAD$2.39. In the U.S. ACBFF closed today's trading at $1.673, down 5.62% on the day. Volume in shares of Aurora's OTC Markets listing was higher than the company's 30-day average trading volume of 715,000 shares. 


Emerald Health Therapeutics, Inc. (TSXV:EMH)(OTC:TBQBF)


In today's trading shares of Emerald Health Therapeutics were under pressure. On the TSX Venture, EMH closed at CAD$1.18, down 4.07% versus their previous close of CAD$1.23. Volume in EMH was higher than their their 30-day average trading volume of 668,000 shares.
