For the traders out there watching the earnings season closely, there's a few marijuana stocks that are expected to report financials this afternoon including Terra Tech Corp. (OTC:TRTC) and one more.
Earnings announcements are important because they typically only happen a few times per year and can offer increased volatility, liquidity, and opportunity. If a company beats its earnings expectations, its share price will usually increase after the information is released. If a company misses earnings or reports steep losses however, its share price will usually decrease after the information is released.
