Former Texas Congressman Ron Paul is one of many politicians to speak out against Jeff Sessions' decision to rescind the Cole memo., calling it a "bad move."
The Congressman thinks that the war on drugs is a "war on liberty," and that Jeff Sessions is "not a civil libertarian at all." Not only that, he says that Sessions "represents something that is so un-American."
Ron Paul is right about it being un-American. According to a recent poll, 56% of Americans surveyed said they are against the federal government's interference with states that have legalized marijuana for either medicinal or recreational purposes.
In addition, the Governor of Louisiana just wrote a compelling letter to President Trump asking him to please leave medical marijuana programs alone, for the simple fact that many patients depend on the plant's healing potential.
Marijuana aside, Ron Paul mentioned that be believes crypocurrencies and altcoins should be totally legal to use as a currency as long as there's no fraud.
