This morning, Cronos Group Inc. announced the re-branding of In The Zone Ltd. to Original BC Ltd., a.k.a "OGBC". The name change reflects the company's strategic vision in anticipation of the expected legalization of recreational cannabis throughout Canada in July of 2018. OGBC will serve as the platform that Cronos will leverage to launch new brands to serve the international recreational market. The name change is subject to the filing of certain applications and is expected to be effective on or about October 6, 2017.

 

MedReleaf Corp. (TSX:LEAF) (OTC:MEDFF)

 

This morning, MedReleaf Corp. announced the launch of a topical cream, the first Canadian Licensed Producer to do so. The cream is specifically formulated to provide superior absorption with MedReleaf's award-winning high CBD strain and was developed in response to patient feedback for topical applications of CBD. MedReleaf Topical Cream mixes and integrates with the cannabis oil to create an easy-to-use topical agent for direct application to affected areas.

 

Supreme Pharmaceuticals Inc. (TSXV:FIRE) (OTC:SPRWF)

 

This morning, Supreme Pharmaceuticals Inc. announced that its Health Canada ACMPR Licensed Producer, 7ACRES, has completed construction of three additional 10,000 sq. ft. flowering rooms at its Hybrid Facility, and applied to Health Canada for licensing. Subject to Health Canada approval, the additional flowering rooms will quadruple 7ACRES' flowering footprint from 10,000 sq. ft. to 40,000 sq. ft.

 

Terra Tech Corp. (OTC:TRTC)

 

This morning, Terra Tech Corp. announced that its subsidiary, Edible Garden, a nationwide provider of fresh, locally-grown herbs and leafy greens, has been selected by two new customers, Hannaford supermarket and Sweetgreen restaurants, to supply organic fresh herbs to selected retail outlets.
