Marijuana Stocks To Watch - Friday, July 7th

Based on recent news and market movement in the early part of the trading day, here are a handful of marijuana stocks we'll be keeping an eye on through the rest of today's trading session. 

 

Friday Night Inc. 

 

In early trading Friday, shares of Friday Night Inc. (CSE:TGIF)(OTC:VPGDF) are up more than 7% on the CSE after giving back some of their earlier gains (at one point this morning the stock was up more than 17%). The company's shares on the OTC Markets haven't traded today. This morning, Friday Night Inc. announced that their 91% owned subsidiary, Alternative Medicine Association, achieved record revenues in the month of June. We'll be watching to see if shares of Friday Night Inc. continue to give back their earlier gains. 

 

Terra Tech Corp. 

 

Shares of Terra Tech Corp. (OTC:TRTC) are up more than 9% in early trading Friday. Over the weekend, the company announced that they did roughly $250,000 in sales across their combined Nevada locations on the first day of recreational cannabis sales in the state. We'll be watching to see how Terra Tech shares finish out this volatile week of trading. 

 

Umbral Energy Corp. 

 

Shares of Umbral Energy Corp. (CSE:UMB)(OTC:UMBBF) are up more than 4% in early trading on the CSE after gaining more than 30% yesterday. The company's OTC Markets symbol is down more than 3% on very light trading volume. Yesterday, Umbral announced the expansion plans of their 75% owned late-stage ACMPR applicant, PhyeinMed. We'll be watching to see how the rest of the trading day plays out in shares of Umbral given this news and yesterday's strong gains.
