This morning, Maple Leaf Green World, Inc. (TSXV:MGW)(OTC:MGWFF) provided an update regarding the company's recent developments in Nevada and California.
Nevada
Maple Leaf has completed their previously announced purchase of land in the City of Henderson, Nevada and is currently working with Paramount Structures Inc. to develop blueprints for the facility. The company expects to formally apply to the City of Henderson in July.
In regards to licensing, the facility satisfies the minimum separation standards for protected uses in Henderson and has met the applicable preliminary requirements for a cultivation facility as determined by the state of Nevada.
Maple Leaf expects they will be able to transfer an existing cultivation permit held by BioNeva Innovations of Henderson, LLC to MGW. Upon approval of the permits, Paramount Structures is expected to begin pre-fabrication of the 20,000 square foot facility, with the goal of installing the modular buliding by year end.
California
Maple Leaf has ordered a modular home for their greenhouse facility site in Southern California to allow them to house additional staff members in preparation for their facility expansion.
As the company is still waiting for rulemaking regarding medical cannabis cultivation facilities in San Diego County, Maple Leaf is in the process of acquiring land in San Bernardino County in order to apply for a cultivation permit there.
Additionally, Maple Leaf's joint venture non-profit co-operative in California reported that they have realized $220,000 in revenue last year.
