It’s a quiet almost-summer Friday here on Wall Street and the same is true for the cannabis markets. News is very slow this morning and volatility across our global marijuana stock universe has calmed down. That said, there are a handful of companies worth keeping an eye on as we head into the weekend.
Friday Night, Inc. (CSE:TGIF)
Shares of Friday Night Inc., started trading today on the Canadian Securities Exchange. Friday Night Inc. owns 91% of Alternate Medicine Association LC, a Nevada licensed medical marijuana producer and 91% of Infused Mfg., LLC, a producer of hemp and CBD infused products. In early trading Friday, shares of the company are up more than 6% from their opening price. We'll be watching to see how Friday Night Inc. trades through the rest of the session.
GB Sciences Inc. (OTC:GBLX)
Building on recent gains, shares of GB Sciences are up more than 4% in early Friday trading. Earlier this week, Louisiana State University announced that they plan on contracting GB Sciences to produce medical marijuana for the university. We'll be watching to see if the recent bullish action in shares of GBLX can continue heading into the weekend.
RespireRX Pharmaceuticals Inc. (OTC:RSPI)
This morning, RespireRX is presenting at the Marcum MicroCap Conference. For those not familiar with the company, RespireRX is preparing to enter stage three clinical trials of its dronabinol treatment for sleep apnea. In today's trading thus far, shares of RespireRX are flat. We'll be watching to see if any news or developments from the conference have an impact on the company's stock price.
