In early trading today, the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada ("IIROC") has announced that shares of Aurora Cannabis (TSXV:ACB)(OTC:ACBFF) and Hempco Food and Fiber (TSXV:HTCO) have been halted pending the clarification of news.
Earlier today, Aurora announced that the company is taking up to a 19.9% stake in industrial hemp producer, Hempco Food & Fiber and that they have an option to increase their ownership to 50.1%. We'll be watching the news clarification when it is released and the market reaction when shares of both companies resume trading.
