Aurora Cannabis Inc. (TSXV:ACB)(OTC:ACBFF)
In pre-market trading today, shares of Aurora Cannabis were halted pending the release of news. As of early trading Thursday, shares remain halted. We'll be watching the news when it is released, and the market reaction when shares resume trading.
Agritek Holdings Inc. (OTC:AGTK)
This morning, Agritek Holdings' announced the company has acquired a property in Quebec in anticipation of creating a 420 friendly resort upon Canadian recreational legalization. In early trading, shares of AGTK are up more than 35% on volume that is already higher than the company's 30-day average volume.
Cannabix Technologies Inc. (CSE:BLO)(OTC:BLOZF)
Cannabix Technologies shares are up more than 1% on both the CSE and the OTC Markets as of early trading Thursday. This morning, the company announced that Dr. David Hasman has been brought on to oversee breathalyzer trials in British Columbia. We'll be watching to see if volume and volatility picks up in shares of Cannabix as the day goes on. Remember, on Tuesday, one of Cannabix's competitors rose $8.1 million in a series B financing round.
Golden Leaf Holdings Inc. (CSE:GLH)(OTC:GLDFF)
This morning, Golden Leaf announced the company is postponing their previously scheduled first quarter earnings call to next week. Shares are up more than 1% on the CSE and are up more than 2.5% on the OTC Markets as of early Thursday trading. We'll be watching to see if any concern comes into the markets due to the postponed conference call.
Insys Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ:INSY)
As of early Thursday trading, Insys Therapeutics is up roughly 4%. Yesterday, Insys announced that the company received FDA approval regarding the final product label for Syndros. We'll be watching to see if today's bullish action can continue given the completion of this major step towards the launching the product.
Marapharm Ventures Inc. (CSE:MDM)(OTC:MRPHF)
As of early trading Thursday, shares of Marapharm are up more than 15% on both the CSE and the OTC Markets. Earlier today, Marapharm announced that one of the company's licenses has received final approval from the state of Nevada to cultivate and sell cannabis. We'll be watching to see if the bullish action can continue in shares of Marapharm given this week's news.
Zynerba Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ:ZYNE)
Shares of Zynerba Pharmaceuticals are up more than 2.0% as of early trading, despite a lack of recent news from the company. That said, there has been some insider buying over the past two weeks in shares of ZYNE. We'll be watching to see how shares close today's trading session .
