Nike's 4/20 Drop in 2010 Was Way Better!

April 20, 2017

Nike SB is back again, once again releasing another pair of Dunks paying homage to the holiest of high holidays - 4/20. According to sites like Sneakernews.com and Nicekicks.com, the 4/20 Nike SB Dunk Low will be dropping on April 20th. It looks like outer space mixed with where your mind wanders off to when you're high.

Although these looks like a pretty pair of kicks, some of Nike SB's previous 4/20 releases were way cooler. Going back through the last few years of 4/20 releases from Nike, and two others stand out as favorites.

Starting with the absolute winners, the 4/20 Nike SB release from 2010 had to be the coolest. They looked like hairy smokeable nugs of weed! These are extremely rare shoes but don't worry. A devoted sneakerhead can still buy a brand new pair of these bad boys since a new-in-box pair of the "Skunks" are currently listed on Ebay for $780.

A close second, 2016 Nike went sustainable and released Dunks made out of hemp! They're nowhere nearly as cool as the 2010 Dunks, but I'm 100% in support of the hemp movement. If more shoes could be made out of sustainable hemp fiber, mother earth would be better off!
