Back in the November elections, Issue 6, a.k.a. the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Amendment passed. This amendment "supported legalizing medical marijuana for 17 qualifying conditions, creating a Medical Marijuana Commission, and allocating tax revenue to technical institutes, vocational schools, workforce training, and the General Fund."
As of the other day, there's a new amendment added regarding medical marijuana. Arkansas Senate Bill 721 is an act to amend the Arkansas Constitution "to require a dispensary to make vaporizers available for sale to qualifying patients and to appoint a pharmacist consultant" among other things.
Introduced on March 6th, this amendment officially passed the Arkansas senate on March 23rd. For those interested in watching the vote, check out the video embedded below.
