On Friday, as part of the Dr. Lawrence H. and Roberta Cohn Forums series, there was a marijuana forum held at Harvard's T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
The forum presented jointly with the Huffington Post focused on the latest scientific findings surrounding cannabis. This hour long panel on cannabis policy and the rapidly changing landscape behind the industry is most definitely worth watching. Basing their opinions on firm scientific evidence and years of research, the four panelists bring a wealth of knowledge to the table.
The panelists for this forum included:
Dr. Marie McCormick - Esther Feldberg Professor of Maternal and Child Health, department of social and behavioral sciences at Harvard's T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
Dr. Staci Gruber - Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard's Medical School as well as the Director of Cognitive and Clinical Neuroimaging Core (CCNC) at the McClean Hospital in addition to being the Director of Marijuana Investigations for Neuroscientific Discovery (MIND).
Dr. Vaughan Rees - Lecturer on social and behavioral sciences at Harvard's T.H. Chan School of Public Health as well as Director of the Center for Global Tobacco Control and Director of the Tobacco Research Laboratory at the Harvard Chan School of Public Health.
Andrew Freedman - Former Colorado Director of Marijuana Coordination and Co-Founder of Freedman & Koski Inc., a consulting firm focused on marijuana reform.
