Today's Marijuana Stock Gainers - March 14th, 2017

On this wintery Tuesday across many of the North American financial centers, broad equity markets posted losses on muted trading volumes. The Dow lost 44 points, the NASDAQ Composite lost 0.32% and the S&P/TSX Composite closed down over 165 points or 1.06%.

 

Despite losses broadly, there were some names in the cannabis space that did well in today's trading, beating the indices to close positive on the day. 

 

Across our global marijuana stock databases, here are a few stocks that posted gains in trading on Tuesday, March 14th, 2017.

 

Acacia Diversified Holdings, Inc. (OTC:ACCA)

 

Acacia Diversified Holdings shares had a strong day of trading, closing at $1.75, up 3.03% versus their previous close of $1.65. Today's volume in ACCA was more than double their 30-day average trading volume of 1,400 shares. 

 

Aero Grow International, Inc. (OTC:AERO)

 

Aero Grow International shares closed Tuesday's trading session at $2.75, up 3.77% from their previous close of $2.65. Today's trading volume in AERO was lower than their 30-day average volume of 35,000 shares.

 

CannLabs, Inc. (OTC:CANL)

Golden Leaf Holdings Inc. (CSE:GLH)(OTC:GLDFF)(FRA:9GL)

 

Golden Leaf Holdings' shares had a strong day of trading across all of their listings. On the Frankfurt Exchange, shares of Golden Leaf finished the day up 9.09% at €0.22. 

On the CSE, shares of Golden Leaf finished at CAD$0.34, up 9.68% from their previous close of CAD$0.310. Their U.S. listing closed today's trading at $0.2502, up 14.72% from Monday's close of $0.2181. Volume in GLDFF was lower than their 30-day average volume of 97,000 shares. 

 

THC Biomed International Inc. (CSE:THC)(OTC:THCBF)(FRA:TFHD)

 

As of the European close this morning, shares of THC Biomed on the Frankfurt exchange finished at €0.55, up 2.04% on the day. The North American listed shares of THC Biomed posted even stronger gains in today's trading. On the CSE, THC closed at CAD$0.80, up 5.26% from their previous close of CAD$0.760. THCBF finished the day at $0.58, up 3.52% in today's trading. Volume in their OTC markets listing was higher than their 30-day average volume of 62,000 shares.
