This is the biggest Colorado Medical action against medical marijuana doctors.
These 4 doctors supposedly made over-sized recommendations to over 1,500 combined patients.
Normal plant counts for a medical marijuana patient is 6 marijuana plants.
These cases involved recommended plant counts of over 75 plants per patient.
The license suspensions will be until this is resolved with further investigation of patient records and more.
The Doctors & The Accusations:
Dr. Robert C. Maiocco, MD - over-sized recommendations to >190 patients.
Dr. Deborah K. Parr, MD - over-sized recommendations to >300 patients.
Dr. William T. Stone, DO - over-sized recommendations to >400 patients.
Dr. Gentry Dunlop Jr., MD - over-sized recommendations to >700 patients.
75 plants for one person is a lot of marijuana.
That is excessive despite most medical conditions a patient may have.
This is the largest action taken against medical marijuana doctors in Colorado so far, but this is not the last of actions like this.
We will keep readers updated with any developments in the matter.
